For our family, one of the best things about summer in the Rocky Mountains is the chance to get out for picnics in our own "backyard".
The girls and Jack enjoyed our picnic and hike around Lily Lake.
You don't have to look far to see some beautiful wildlife and scenery.
After Catherine observed some fellow hikers using walking sticks,
she soon found this stick to use as her own.
To me, food tastes even better eaten al fresco.
